Description of the study / survey A

sample of 1,800 people were taken from people in the age group 18-75 of the entire country, the response rate was 75%. The purpose was, among other things, to get a complete overview of the nature and characteristics of lifelong learning in Iceland, especially regarding study outside the school system, and to do research on its development in Icelandic society.
